Fulham - Surman Happy to stay a Saint?

Fulham - Surman Happy to stay a Saint?

With the January transfer window approaching, the name of the Southampton young starlet, Andrew Surman, has featured prominently.

Already he`s been linked with Fulham and Stoke as Southampton possibly look towards easing their financial crisis with a January sale.

However, the U21 star isn`t that keen on a move if his recent comments are anything to go by,

'A lot of things have been said in the paper about me as far as I'm concerned they are just rumours.'

'I am a Southampton player and I'm happy here. Every player in the Championship would love to play in the Premier League one day, but I just want to keep doing what I am doing for Southampton.

'It's nice to be linked to big clubs, but you don't want to get too excited about paper talk because a lot of it is not true.'

See you in January then mate!
