Gera - Remains Happy Despite No Recent Action?

Hindsight is such a wonderful attribute, in fact it`d be a far better world if we were all blessed with it.

Zoltan Gera, who has recently lost his place in the side to Clint Dempsey, has given an interview whereby he can now justify his move from West Bromwich Albion to Fulham by the virtue of us being higher than his previous club in the table.

So much for success being judged on playing every game!

Nevertheless, his lack of action hasn`t fazed him as he goes on to explain,

'I'm not worried about anything because Fulham are doing well and our secret dream is to finish in the top 10 and avoid the relegation zone by a distance."

'Our defensive play is very good; we have conceded the fourth least goals in the league. I think I made the right decision when I signed my contract at Fulham.'

'So far I have played as a left-sided midfielder which is not really my cup of tea. Hodgson and I agreed that from now I should play on the right side. "

'I'm very happy about it because I feel much more comfortable over there."

The only problem now being who is going to make way for the Hungarian?

He is a great player and unfortunatly he is better than davies who has vanished this season

I'd disagree with that call - Davies has done all right in my opinion!

Simon Davies is Mr Consistent, he always gives his all for the club. The problem is, Davies plays best on the right, Gera plays best on the right, Dempsey plays best on the right... Kamara might be alright on the left when he comes back but we all know Kamara wants to be a centre forward and he'll probably be pushing Zamora for his starting spot when he's back to full fitness. Zamora, bless him, hasn't scored despite his performances and he's a striker, he needs to score to keep his place. Transfer window we need a left winger!
