Fulham - Hughes on Jimmy!

With Fabio Capello watching from the stands, it was the ideal time for Jimmy Bullard to return to the sort of form that made him a member of the England squad, twice, earlier this season.

Capello couldn`t have failed to have been impressed with his all-action display that culminated in his first goal of the season and a stunning free kick that Joe Hart spectacularly saved.

After the game Aaron Hughes, who is having a great season himself, spoke out about the bubbly character himself, Mr Bullard, remarking,

"Even if you don`t know Jim, you realise he works hard, always shows up for the ball and can score."

"There`s character in every team. He puts smiles on peoples` faces and does silly things. It`s beneficial to smile and he does that. He lifts the mood."

"And it transfers on to the pitch. You see him, bubbly, bouncing around looking for the ball."

Of all the midfield talent on show on Saturday, at Craven Cottage, I`d say Bullard had the best game, anyone care to differ?
