After extending our unbeaten Premier League run to five, things should be looking rosy in the Fulham garden.
Sadly, three of those five games, the last three, have seen us draw so we`ve in effect only taken three points out of a possible nine, but we should point out that, on a positive note, we`ve taken nine points out of the last fifteen.
After the match, Roy Hodgson, quite rightly, bemoaned the decision that denied us a penalty when Richard Dunne clearly flicked the ball away with his arm as Andrew Johnson flicked it past him.
Roy also spoke about the slow start and our failure to get all three, this is basically what he had to say,
"I thought we started very poorly and paid the price for that by going a goal down, but after that we did really well and came in at half-time deservedly 1-1. In the second half we cancelled each other out quite a bit.
'We can obviously complain about the penalty not given but Man City worked hard for their point and we were not good enough to get all three.
'That is probably the hand moving to the ball, so we are a bit unlucky not to get that, although the referee was in a difficult position to see it.
'It's another unbeaten game, we can take heart from that and we'll take heart from coming back from a goal down.'
Next up a trip to Stoke to see if we can end that away run that has seen us fail to win on our Premier League travels this season.
