Fulham - Bullard Breaks His Duck

Despite his two international call-ups, Jimmy Bullard had, surprisingly, failed to register a goal in the Premier league this season.

Therefore, it came as a great relief when he finally broke that duck, in the twenty-seventh minute, at Craven Cottage against Manchester City.

Discussing the matter, Bullard had these few brief quotes for the media,

"It's nice to get under way (and score), I've been getting closer and it's nice to finally put one in the onion bag.'

'It's nice to get one in the onion bag and I thought I might have had a second with the free-kick, but Joe Hart mad a great save."
