Hodgson - Hangeland is Going Nowhere!

Roy Hodgson, on the back of the ever-growing rumours relating to Brede Hangeland, has reacted quickly to quash rumours of a possible move.

It looks as if Arsenal and Spurs can stick their cheque books away because Brede is going nowhere, or as Roy puts it,

'Brede came to us (from FC Copenhagen) during a difficult period when we were battling with our backs against the wall.'

'He was one of the keys to our survival last season."

'He has turned out to be a leader in our defence and I believe he is one of the best defenders in the Premier League.'
