Wenger Looking To Sign Defender?

Yesterday, we ran conflicting articles on the future of Brede Hangeland.

One based on a tabloid rumour, suggested that he was stalling on signing a new contract, the other based on quotes from Brede himself, suggested that he owed Roy and would stay.

Well, today more rumours are appearing on the internet. One suggests that Arsene Wenger has taken a liking to the Norwegian ace and is prepared to shell out something in the region of £6 million to sign him as he seeks to reshape his defence.

Worrying times or just trashy talk?

Get stuffed Wenger, stick with The Incredible Sulk aka Gallas... sick of 'big' clubs coming and nicking our best players!

I wouldn't read in to it too much yet...

I hope we do sign him. He would be excellent alongside Gallas.
