Fulham - Stockdale becomes a Miller

Fulham - Stockdale becomes a Miller

With Mark Schwarzer receiving glowing tributes for his displays from Roy Hodgson and Pascal Zuberbuhler on the bench, opportunities have been limited for David Stockdale in recent months.

Therefore, we`re not particularly surprised to hear that Stockdale has gone out on loan to Rotherham United for a month.

The ex-Darlington keeper has joined the Yorkshire side as cover for the injured Andy Warrington.

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish him well.

He didn't come here expecting to play week in week out. He has come to learn and improve. Roy sees talent in the lad and wants to bring it out of him. He has gone on a emergancy loan which will give him a months playing time. Its good!

he will get his chance Schwarzer has has only a few seasons left, and at the moment how could you drop him , it will be be good for Stockdale to go out on loan, he had a good pre season and has shown he will be our number one goal keeper once Schwarzer retires
