Fulham - Bullard Misses Out!

Disappointingly Jimmy Bullard didn`t play a part in the fine England win in Berlin last night.

The only glimpse we got of Bullard was fleeting when he appeared to be entertaining a couple of other substitutes alongside him who both broke out into smiles.

On reflection, Fabio Capello would have probably liked to have seen whether Jimmy could cut the mustard at international level. But, with the game delicately poised at 1-1 and also there for the taking it wasn`t the time to experiment as Gareth Barry and Michael Carrick were controlling the area.

That`s now three England games that Bullard has been a spectator for, anyone prepared to wager it`ll be fourth time lucky?

I'd be surprised if he were named in a squad for a serious game.
Edens
maybe not but it would still be nice to see him wear a shirt with three lions on - just once!
Al Billy
I couldn't agree more - I'd just love to see that smile as he's introduced to some old hoity-toity!
Putney
why didnt he just give him a run out
