Fulham - Konchesky Tips Us To Go Higher!

Yesterday we reported how Erik Nevland had suggested he`d be happy to just escape being relegated this season, well Paul Konchesky has much higher ambitions.

Our left back sees no reason why we can`t finish in the top half of the table and has told the official site after the win against Spurs saw us climb to ninth,

Paul Konchesky believes Fulham have the strength in depth and ability to stay in the top half of the Premier League this season.

'It has given us a great lift and we are looking at the league table in terms of going up instead of down now."

'We've been playing well, especially at home. It's very hard for teams to beat us at Craven Cottage and we've only lost one at home all season."

'Beating Spurs gave us a great boost ahead of Saturday's game against Liverpool. This club doesn't want to be, or deserve to be, in the bottom half of the table and the players we've got here can prove that this season."

'If we keep going I think we can remain a top 10 team.'

So is Konchesky right?

Would you consider tenth place a great achievement?
