Fulham - You Were the Weakest Link Gomes?

The excitement over our latest win, pushing us to ninth in the table, refuses to die down.

With a whole week to wait until we face Liverpool we`ve still ample time to reflect on the events of Saturday.

Since the victory, much of the blame for the Spurs defeat has been put at the feet of their keeper, Gomes. Roy Hodgson hasn`t helped matters by openly admitting that Gomes was targeted, that he was considered the weakest link and in his post match interview commented about the keeper,

"We put a lot of people close to goal on corners so you could argue that we targeted the keeper. We analyse the opposition for possible weaknesses and we realised that corners are not his strength. He`s more of a shot stopper."

"It was a calamitous error but he made an exceptional late save."

It`s nice to see a ruthless streak developing in our play!

I think the media has focussed a lot on Gomes' mistake (Which is fair enough), but lets not forget, that we by far were the better side and played some fairly good football!:) COYW!

Spurs were crap for the first 30 mins!
Al Billy
only really threatened us for five mins - we scored and then it was quite comfortable!

It's the same old story guys; Spurs lost, who were they playing? oh well doesn't matter. Sky's review of the match on football first didn't contain ONE mention of the the word Fulham.
