Bullard Waits for Three Lions Call Up

Bullard Waits for Three Lions Call Up

With the squad for the Germany game announced one bubbly character may well be a little down this morning.

Well that is until he remembers our superb win over Spurs yesterday, a win that has lifted us to a dizzy ninth in the table.

Jimmy, like so many of us, was desperate to see his name back in that England squad but it wasn`t to be, that is unless a rash if injuries force a hasty reshuffle.

However, speaking before the squad was announced, Jimmy has recalled exactly how it felt to be selected that first time around remarking,

"It was a bit of a shock when I was called up but I loved every minute of my time in the squad. I felt I held my own in training but I didn`t get the chance to play in the games against Andorra and Croatia"

"I was waiting for the call for the next squad but it didn`t come and I was gutted about that. But not enough to go ranting and raving about it."

"I still hope to get another opportunity. Never say never."

Never give up hope Jimmy, we know you are good enough!
