Fulham - Joe`s a Naughty Boy Then!

Fulham - Joe`s a Naughty Boy Then!

The furore relating to the penalty decision given by Martin Atkinson, on Sunday, refuses to abate.

After the match, Joe Kinnear launched hi snow infamous 'Mickey mouse` jibe at the referee and now he looks as if he`s about to pay the penalty.

He`s been written to by FA chiefs and been asked to explain his behaviour with an FA spokesman remarking,

'The FA have confirmed they have written to Joe Kinnear to ask him to explain his comments about referee Martin Atkinson following the game at Fulham.'

Apparently Kinnear has a week to explain his actions or face the wrath of those who run our game.

So what would be a suitable punishment?

One wag has politely suggested that he should be made to stay on as Newcastle manager for the rest of the season.

Can anyone improve upon that suggestion?
