Fulham - Murphy Hits 100

Fulham - Murphy Hits 100

Danny Murphy has been sat on 99 league goals for quite awhile.

Today he hit his 100th.

It may have been a penalty, and doesn`t everyone insist they should be scored, but the pressure on Murphy must have been intense as he strode forward.

Newcastle were getting on top and a defeat would have seen us drop to 19th place.

Thankfully, Danny, with nerves of steel, kept his cool and scored it.

In typical Danny style, there were no lavish celebrations, there was no displaying of a pre-printed t-shirt, that`s not his style, but, deep down, I bet he was as pleased as punch.

Well done Danny from all at Vital Fulham.
