Fulham Chase Midfield Target?

Fulham Chase Midfield Target?

That bastion of tabloids, The Sun, is today informing its readership that Fulham are locked in a race with West Ham United to sign somebody called Beni Huggel.

Huggel plays for the Swiss team, Basle, and is rated at £2.5 million. He`s also a midfield player but as for anything else relating to the lad, we had to delve into our favourite search engine to find out,

- He began his career with M√ľnchenstein and FC Arlesheim.

- He`s played for Basel in the Champions League.

- He`s a defensive midfielder standing at 6` 3" tall.

- He`s also played for Eintracht Frankfurt before returning to Basle.

- His career has been affected by injury.

- He`s made close to 200 appearances for Basle, in his two spells, scoring 39 goals.

- He has 26 Swiss caps to his name.
