Fulham - Let's Play Leap-Frog?

Newcastle`s win over Aston Villa lifted them six places in the Premier League and dropped Fulham a step nearer to the relegation places.

Brede Hangeland, speaking ahead of our Fulham`s clash with Newcastle this Sunday, has noticed that the Premier League appears to be tighter than ever this season with teams not separated by many points, therefore opening up the possibility of leap-frogging a few clubs if you win a game or two.

In an interview given recently, Brede has this to say,

"It's normal for the league to be tight after the first couple of games, but I haven't seen it stay this tight after 10 or 11 games. The table should be settling down by now, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen yet."

'That makes it all the more exciting because you know that if you can string a couple of good results together, you can really move up the table. We have looked strong at home so hopefully we can get something good from the next two games. "

'I'm sure both teams will be looking at the game with three points in mind. Every team you face in this league is good, but there are no impossible games and no easy games. If we perform at a good level then it's possible to win.'

Well let`s hope that Fulham can climb up the table in a similar fashion to Newcastle, it`d certainly ease a few worries.

If our defence keep doing what they have been doing, and our midfield wake up we can win this one!
