'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - It`s That Away Form Again!

Our away form was a great bone of contention last season.

It wasn`t until the latter stages of the season that we managed to end a run of close to eighteen months without a win.

This season we appear to have slipped back into old ways, we`ve yet to win away from home and it is our away form that is dragging us down the table.

Roy Hodgson is perfectly aware of this fact and in a recent interview, taken after the Everton game; he had this to say,

'We seem to be stuck in a rut away from home at the moment."

'We have to keep battling until we get that first away win. So it is vital that we keep picking up points at home."

'If we keep getting the home wins we will be able to keep our position in the table.'

'We've got to get over the disappointment of seeing a point stolen from us in the last minutes of the game and make certain that we can pick the players up so they come out fighting against Newcastle on Sunday.'

A defeat at the hands of the 'Geordie Nation` would leave us in dire straits.

"Dire straits" already in the season, looks like we are in for a long winter.
