Fulham - The Real Madrid Link?

Fulham - The Real Madrid Link?

Times must certainly be a changing, in fact Bob Dylan would even raise a wry smile about our latest little bit of tit-tat.

Lurking on the internet yesterday was a denial that left several people, in the office I work in, smiling.

In a world of mystery and intrigue the Napoli manager, the superbly named Edoardo Reja, has declined a suggestion that Marek Hamsik is bound for Fulham in January.

In a statement on the official Napoli website he's barked,

'Marek is a key player here and we have no interest of letting him go to, whether it's Fulham FC or Real Madrid, he will not be going. He would only be allowed to go if a club offers silly money, which I doubt anyone would want to mid-season'

Now, I can recall Fulham being bracketed with many a club but never Real Madrid, or is this a white shirt thing?

That's probably one of the weridest quotes I've ever seen, nicely picked up sir!
