Fulham - Roy`s Not Overly Concerned

We're not prepared to let the point drop!

We're utterly convinced that unless we start scoring goals, from open play, we're going to be in the same dreadful situation we were in last season, namely fighting the dreaded drop.

There has been some massive investment in the squad this summer but despite that bright start, we've come off the rails in the last few games, worried glances are being exchanged as memories of last season come flooding back.

But, it appears, Roy Hodgson has very few of those same fears and continues to be optimistic regarding such matters and after the draw against Sunderland, he had this to say,

'Off course I'm concerned, but I have great faith in the players we have.'

'With Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora and players like Zoltan Gera and Simon Davies, not to mention Jimmy Bullard, there are plenty of goals in the team.'

'The Sunderland match came on the back of an international week where we had as much as 14 players away. So I could be a lot less happy than I am.'

His quotes raise a few points.

Is the international break an influencing factor and are you as happy as Roy is that the goals will start to come?

We'd be interested to know your thoughts.

I'm a bit more worried than good old Roy, but hopefully he is right! The International breaks though are no excuse, because almost all the other teams are in the same position.

they are indeed worrying times especially when you consider who we've played!

give it three of four more games before we PANIC!

Exactly, give Zamora and aj a chance to form a partnership. I think we lack a bit of width in our team though. get Gera in the middle, drop bullard, start Gray. Easy

lets hope roy is right we have trusted his judgement so far, but im worried about the lack of goals and of course our league position, lets keep the faith
