Ex-Fulham Duo Draw A Blank!

Come on own up, when David Healy was brought on with twenty odd minutes to go you feared the worse didn`t you!

You thought, like me, that Roy Keane had played his joker knowing that former players manage to score against former clubs and you knew how ironic it would be if Healy, a player who had trouble scoring for us at Craven Cottage, scored a dramatic late winner.

Thankfully it wasn`t to be and Healy didn`t get to savour one of those moments that seem to occur every week.

As for the other half of the duo, Steed Malbranque had no great influence on the game and, as you might suspect, my former hero was given something of a vociferous reception, especially when he picked up a yellow card.
