Do We Always Boo Malbranque?

I like Steed Malbranque!

His silky skills and great first touch always made him a favourite of mine.

When he was sold to Spurs I had a heavy heart.

I knew that it was a sign that we were never going to move into the upper echelons of the Premier League.

I knew that we`d always be a there-or-thereabouts club, a club living amongst the big boys, a club determined to test them but never occupy a permanent level of superiority they did.

I was happy with that, I still am, I have, like my club, principals and I refuse to betray them.

Getting back to the point in question though, I`ve always applauded Steed when he came back, I may be looking through rose tinted glasses but I can`t believe he`s always booed as he`s now claiming in a pre-match interview when he remarks,

"Every time I have been been back there I have been booed, so it might be difficult for me tomorrow."

Surely not Steed, anyone got any thoughts?
