Fulham - No New Bullard Contract

The on-going saga of a new contract for Jimmy Bullard has resurfaced.

Jimmy, who was looking for a contract renewal in the summer, has been told there will be no discussions and he`s also been offered the following advice by Roy Hodgson,

"Jimmy doesn't need a new contract because he has two years left on his current one,'

'If he keeps his high standards up the situation may arise where other teams come knocking on the door."

'But we are happy with the situation as it stands. We are delighted to have him here."

'If he had just one year left on his deal and was refusing to sign a new one then it would cause alarm bells to ring. But he knows the most important thing for him is to keep his place in the England set-up and keep playing well to help his beloved Fulham climb the table."

'If that happens then we hope we will stay together and win more matches, which will in turn advance his career. He knows exactly what he has to do and he is very focused on it at the moment.'

Well, I suppose that`s the end of any confusion then!
