Fulham - Treading the Middle Ground?
I never had Jimmy Bullard down as your ultimate sensible chap!
I always thought that mischievous grin hid a multitude of sins and a desire to wreak havoc, however, behind the bubbly façade lies the voice of reason.
With five games played, Jimmy, ahead of our trip to West Brom, has chatted to the official site and has remarked as thus,
'It's early days yet and we've only played five games. You're not going to win the league after five game and you're not going to get relegated after five. People can make mountains out of molehills either way.'
'But that's football nowadays and that's what people talk about. You're never going to get anything in the middle, it's either good or bad - that's why people listen to phone-ins or buy the papers because it's a good read. No one wants to talk about middle ground because no one would want to read about it.'
A good point Jimmy but please don't forget our site thrives on the subject either side of the middle ground you mention.
