Fulham - Does Roy Need Another Striker?

Fulham - Does Roy Need Another Striker?

I stumbled across this little gem whilst I was trawling various sources trying to find something interesting to report on.

It would appear that, if the report is correct, Roy Hodgson is looking to sign another striker.

This would be another striker on top of Bobby Zamora, Andrew Johnson and Erik Nevland that he`s already signed since he`s been here.

This would be another striker on top of Diomansy Kamara who should be on his way back from injury in the New Year and Eddie Johnson who is away doing work experience at Cardiff!

Should we be worried? Well not really!

Every great team (although I might be getting carried away with that terminology) has four strikers to choose from.

So who is the man in question, who could be our fourth, or fifth, or sixth striker?

Well according to my source it is the Red Bull Salzburg (what do you mean who?) striker Johna Vonlathen.

Vonlathen is a Swiss international who is reported as being unsettled at Salzburg and is looking to move away in January.

However, before we all get carried away thinking Roy has found us a right little gem, perhaps we should point out we have little or no information relating to his scoring record and we could face competition for his services with Palermo and Racing Santander eyeing him up.

For some strange reason I get the feeling this one isn`t going to happen, although I could be wrong!

exactly - if we keep on buying strikers it'll get a confused mess whereby nobody will know our best two!
