'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hodgson`s As Disappointed As Us.

The morning after the night before and the disappointment still lingers.

I watched the game again, on Sky Sorts, last night and I still can`t believe we went in 2-0 down at half time and down to ten men.

After that it was always going to be an up-hill battle. After the game, Roy Hodgson contested the sending off and mirrored our won disappointment, in his chat with the media vultures, commenting,

'I am disappointed, I suppose. I thought we did so well and to go two goals to nil down and have a player sent off three minutes just before half time was really a very harsh blow, I thought."

'Certainly the sending off I am disappointed about because the video shows in actual fact it's Neill who actually kicks Andy who was just attempting to block the ball.

"So that was very unfortunate because it made our task even harder second half. But even with ten men I think we continued to dominate the game and the lads did ever so well to make such a fight of it.'

I guess its time to gather our thoughts and get ready for a trip to the Hawthorns next week, a chance to get the three points we deserved yesterday!

THe thing is we have said this for all the games we've lost so far. "We played well and deserved to get something from the game."
oranje_emu
do you think andy johnson would not of been sent off if lucas neills boot had not of come off, the sending off probably lost us the game, so lets play crap against west brom and win
dan the man
it probably did cost us the game we beat them in the second half with ten men, hopefully a result at the hawthorns
