'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Everton Target Fulham`s Bullard?

It was always going to be a danger wasn`t it!

After forcing his way into the England squad, Jimmy Bullard has become a wanted man again.

A potential suitor, in the form of Everton, is sniffing around with a view to trying to prose Jimmy away from Craven Cottage in the January transfer window.

Well that`s what the News of the World is reporting this morning.

A fee of £4 million (paltry in our opinion) has been mentioned with a few quotes, from a Fulham insider, thrown in for good measure.

The quotes, shown below, imply the lure of UEFA Cup football may swing the equation in Everton`s favour, but Everton need a miracle to see off Standard Liege to progress, therefore the whole story, in our opinion, is absolute tosh!

Who`d want to go to Everton anyway?

"Jimmy has already had a more than decent career but who knows what more there is to come?"

"For a player of his ability it`s a shame he has never experienced European football and this should be his next step."

"Everton can offer that if they survive in the UEFA Cup until the New Year and the prospect of that might overcome any reservations he may have of returning north from his London base.'

What do you think folks?

a lot more than £4 million I'd hope!
Al Billy
it's difficult to see where he'd go - Villa might be an option but not Everton!
Putney
He's certainly making waves throughout the Premier League at the moment. Nice to see he has turned his career back on track after that horrific injury.
daspecial1
I can't see him going. Unless West Ham come knocking.

It will be a miracle if we're still in Europe this time next week, nevermind the new year.
