Johnson Itching To Hit The Net?

After three games back in the fold following the niggling injury he had before he joined us, Andrew Johnson has yet to open his Fulham scoring account.

In fact, he remains on 99 League goals, itching to reach the century mark.

Thankfully, Johnson doesn`t see the lack of goals as a burden and talking to the official site he talks about that injury, his current fitness level and hi steam mates, remarking,

'I was injured for a long time and I didn't play many games pre-season so to play my first game against Bolton was tremendous for me because it was my first competitive game for three and a half months.

'I'm pretty pleased with the way I've been playing, my touch is feeling good and I'm feeling positive. I could do with a goal but that will come in time, I've only played three games so I'm not worried about that. The main thing is that the boys have been putting me in the right places at the right times.

'My fitness is feeling good, I've been feeling a little bit tired towards the last 20 minutes of games. But I can get even sharper and I'm feeling good and positive.'

Andrew, a goal on Saturday would make our weekend, especially if it is the winning one!
