Fulham - We All Got It So Wrong!

In our latest poll we thought we'd gauge your views on the forthcoming Carling Cup tie with Burnley, a tie that we were eventually to lose.

With the tie having to be settled on the night, we were able to present six options for you to choose from.

Naturally, like myself, you thought the odds would be stacked in favour of the Premier League side.

In fact if we combine the three options that indicated a Fulham win, a massive 86% of you believed that, by hook or by crook, we'd be in the fourth round draw as opposed to the 14% who predicted that the Championship side would emerge victorious.

Looks like, in this case, the minority were well and truly right!

You Premier League sides make me laugh, maybe you would have won if you hadnt shown disrespect to the tournament and fielded a weakened side. You deserved what you got, and it's no use crying now "The Premier League is our priority and some of my players have niggling injuries," added Hodgson. So 8 of the eleven players you missed out have injuries have they? Mind you you haven't won at Turf Moor since April 1951 so we would probably have beaten your full strength side too. 6 subs?

hav to agree that EPL s our first priority n we dun want to exhaust our first eleven playing 3 games in 7 days, or being held for 120 minutes then lost in penalties shoot-out. we did field some young lads who DO hav the qualities to win games but maybe it just wasnt the day n of cos those lads should hav done better to prove they can challenge for a first team place. btw, all the best Burnley but dun get too carried away u lads didnt play that well actually on Wed
genuch
