Fulham - On the Road Problems?

Last season when we won three away games on the trot after finally banishing that awful away record, I was in seventh heaven.

I thought the away hoodoo was finally over and then we went and crashed to defeat at the KC Stadium (2-1 to Hull).

We`ve not had an away game since then so this weekend`s trip to Blackburn so all eyes will be on us to see how we perform.

Our club captain has stepped forward to give us his views on the subject remarking,

"It is very important that we start to pick up away points.

"You like to think that you will get the majority of your points at home with the crowd behind you.

"But that is what separates the top teams from everyone else - the ability to be more consistent on the road.

"We ended last season on a high on our travels, and we have to keep that run going - starting at Blackburn on Saturday."

Fine sentiments indeed, so let`s hope we can get that first away win of this season at Ewood Park!

Hull was a blip, they were massively up for that - first game in the Prem and all that!
Al Billy
good point - and they were no slouches at Newcaslte last weekend
Putney
has Blackburn just lost 4-nil or something at home last game, seems they need time to settle under a relatively inexperienced EPL management in Ince. the Blackburn game MUST be the one to open our first away win this season, just be aware of their nasty tackles or challenges COYW
genuch
blackburn have conceided plenty of goals so far this season so with our hit men up front no reason we shouldnt get something from the game
