'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Three Waiting and Willing?

With the team having started so well this season we`ve not had much chance to witness several of our new signings in meaningful action.

It`s no secret that Roy chased long and hard to sign Dickson Etuhu and Fredrik Stoor although the late arrival of Julian Gray was something of a mysterious, well kept, secret if we were to be honest.

But with the team having won three on the trot, if you include the Leicester City Carling Cup game, Roy hasn`t felt the need to veer too far way from those given the chance to impress.

But speaking ahead of the trip to Blackburn, Roy has suggested that all three players previously mentioned are not that far away from the first team when he remarks,

'Dickson is getting better all the time. We took him on knowing it was going to take time to get him back to something like match fitness, because he hadn't played for a long time or done much pre-season training at Sunderland."

'But he has worked really hard and played 70 minutes for the reserves on Monday."

'If we did not have such a great choice at the moment then I could easily push him in, but I can afford to be a bit cautious because we are not in desperate need."

'The same applies to Julian Gray and Fredrik Stoor, it's good that we can ease them into the team and risk that they find it a bit difficult.'

Like Roy has also mentioned, any sign of complacency from those currently in possession of the shirts and these three will be in.

Quite a fortunate position to be in don`t you think?

The way Pantsil is playing at the moment I don't see how Stoor will get in. Which is such a refreshing statement to make about a Fulham team!
