Fulham - Roy Spells It Out!

Fulham head north, to Blackburn, following their best Premier League start for five seasons, however, Roy Hodgson, in the first of many interviews given in the build up to this weekend`s fixtures, has emphasised the need to not get complacent.

It`s widely acknowledged that our current eleven is far stronger than the eleven we started with last season, Hodgson has traded well and there is a slickness, allied with resoluteness, about our play this season.

Roy, eager to keep things going on the same level, spoke about the advantages of having a big squad, although admittedly it is smaller than the one he inherited but of a better quality, remarking that he believes those who perform well deserve another crack of the whip, this is what Uncle Roy had to say,

'One would like to think that what we do in training challenges people. We don't want complacency, and the idea of having a squad of players is to have people in there that can play in the first team.'

'People are given the chance and if they perform well they are entitled to think they deserve another crack at it."

'But nobody here will be complacent because they know there are people behind them who can also play well.'

there s absolutely no place for complacency now dun forget our three consecutive wins come from fixtures at home, n we lost that bl**dy away game at Hull. playing away s never easy but it s all about showing off your OWN football n get over the opponents crowd, n there s absolutely no doubt our lads can do it this weekend n manys to come COYW

roy has certainly turned our club around,im sure any doubters about his style of management, have disappeared,he has the respect of his players and im sure all of us fans , keep the good work coming
