Come on lads - get up to Ewood Park!
Whilst Bobby Zamora will continue to get the plaudits for his scoring, especially if they are goals like he scored on Saturday, the other half of the duo we signed form West Ham, Mr Pantsil, continues to endear himself to the Craven Cottage faithful.
Pantsil, with his all action and all honest endeavour style, is, if this site is correct; quickly establish himself as a cult hero.
With two home victories under our belt (out of two games) he`s latched onto the fact we strive to give the team good support and has, not for the first time this season, come out and praised the home support, commenting,
'It's been a good start but we haven't done it alone.'
'The fans have given us everything possible to win games and we do appreciate everything they do. We need the fans - we must all work together and fight together."
'We will need them more than ever for our game against Blackburn this weekend. I'd like to see them come in their numbers on Saturday."
'As a player it gives you more confidence, determination and motivation when you have your fans behind you, especially away from home."
'Hopefully we can get another good result this weekend but nothing is possible without the fans. What I'm saying to the supporters is that we need them wherever we go and when we see them everything will be fine for us."
'This will bring success to the club and we can all enjoy it. I'm very confident in myself, the players and the Manager. We believe in ourselves and we know anything is possible.'
Now we all know Ewood Park is a long, long way away but doesn`t make it all the more pleasing when you can drive those 200+ miles home knowing we`ve taken another three points?
Well, we`ve got to retain this optimistic attitude haven`t we!
