Old Codgers Football Arrives at Craven Cottage

Old Codgers Football Arrives at Craven Cottage

If you are at a loose end on Thursday October 9th, you could do worse than venture down to Craven Cottage.

On that night, at 19:45, England will be taking on the Republic of Ireland.

Now before you all go crazy thinking we've snatched a fixture from Wembley, perhaps we should reveal that the fixture in question is between two teams of elderly legends.

The England legends will be managed by Peter Reid and it'll be their third game since the advent of such fixtures. Reid is hoping that his team do better than the last fixture they played when they were comprehensively beaten (5-1) by Germany.

At the moment we have no details of the admission price but it could be a hoot, so why not go along.
