Fulham - One That Got Away!

Fulham - One That Got Away!

Amongst the bluster of the last day of the transfer window, one deal, if the Sun is correct, didn't quite materialise.

The tabloid is implying that Fulham made a last ditch bid to sign a striker we've reported rumours about before, Walter Pandiani.

Nicknamed 'The Rifle' the implication is that a deal wasn't completed before the window slammed shut as both sides couldn't agree personal terms.

Pandiani previously played in the Premiership with Birmingham City and didn't turn out to be the crack shot expected, therefore, on a personal level, I'm not too bothered this one slipped through the net, that is, if the rumour is correct.

Walter Pandiani - unable to agree personal terms.
