Cardiff Tracking Smertin!

Cardiff Tracking Smertin!

After reporting that Alexei Smertin was free to leave Craven Cottage, it looks as if the popular Russian (well I liked him), may well have found a new club.

Cardiff City are reportedly looking to take him and stiffen up the midfield.

If Smertin does go to Cardiff he'll join their recent acquisition, Eddie Johnson, who joined the Welsh club on loan for the season!

If the deal is sorted before midnight we`d like to wish Alexei well.

I liked Smertin. I arrived early before a game and as he was walking in I asked him to sign my programme and he did.
