'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham Interested in Soares?

With clubs eager to do a few last minute deals as the transfer window prepares to slam shut until January, we`ve been linked with yet another midfield player.

After signing Dickson Etuhu we suspected that would be the end of those coming into the club, however, two Sunday tabloids have us showing an interest in Tom Soares of Crystal Palace.

If the tabloids are correct, we have a rival for his signature in the shape of Reading but Palace, although placing the midfielder on the transfer list, are in no rush to do a quick deal.

It is thought that Palace want £2 million for the player with Palace boss, Neil Warnock, commenting,

"We will listen to offers but they have to be brilliant offers."

Personally, I reckon it`s a no-no and nothing more than the tabloids filling a few vacant column inches.
