Etuhu on Hodgson Radar?

With Monday and the closing of the transfer window fast looming, Roy Hodgson could still be looking to add to his squad.

The 'Evening Standard' was, last night, suggesting that a deal to sign Dickson Etuhu. From Sunderland, could be resurrected.

Etuhu was, originally we believe, involved in the deal that took David Healy to Sunderland, but somewhere down the line though it didn't materialise.

Talking about the deal Roy Hodgson is quoted as saying,

'There is still some chance that will happen.'

'We're hopeful that the deal will go through.'

Would you perceive Dickson Etuhu as the sort of signing to take us forward or would you be worried it'll mean splitting up the central midfield combination of Bullard and Murphy?

Or should we be aiming higher than somebody from a side in currently bracketed in the same level as us?

It's done. I suspect a bench player who will make the occasional start. Someone who can come on for someone like Hughes but play infront of the back four
