Volz Ipswich Deal Moves Closer.
The on-off transfer of Moritz Volz to Ipswich Town looks like moving a step closer to completion.
Reports are reaching us that Ipswich Town believe they have secured a loan deal for the German defender.
Originally Fulham had agreed to sell Volz for a fee of around £250,000 but the player wasn`t keen to make the move permanently knowing a loan deal could see him still secure a Premier League deal if another club comes in for him.

I'll miss him too don't worry! It will be sad to see him go but hopefully Roy keeps him. Would like to see him as a back up for the right back and right midfield zone

a loan deal seems more reasonable rather than offloading Volzy on the cheap

I completely perplexed about his fall out from the Fulham team. He was one of the best right backs in the league a few years ago. We then drop him, start playing him right midfield, then centre midfield and then he doesn't play for half a season when we're using people like Baird and Stalteri?!?! I just don't get it. He must have done something to ***** people off, or just doesn't train hard enough??
Can anyone shed some light on it??

I agree he's had a ridiculous fall from grace. It's obvious though that he doesn't want to leave and I think if we keep it to a loan that Roy may bring him back some time in the future. Fingers firmly crossed anyway.
