Volz Ipswich Deal Moves Closer.

The on-off transfer of Moritz Volz to Ipswich Town looks like moving a step closer to completion.

Reports are reaching us that Ipswich Town believe they have secured a loan deal for the German defender.

Originally Fulham had agreed to sell Volz for a fee of around £250,000 but the player wasn`t keen to make the move permanently knowing a loan deal could see him still secure a Premier League deal if another club comes in for him.

Am I the only one who will miss him?

We have pantsil now Al Billy! the new cult hero. I hope it does go through in time for the game this saturday as I will be at that game.

I'll miss him too don't worry! It will be sad to see him go but hopefully Roy keeps him. Would like to see him as a back up for the right back and right midfield zone

a loan deal seems more reasonable rather than offloading Volzy on the cheap

I completely perplexed about his fall out from the Fulham team. He was one of the best right backs in the league a few years ago. We then drop him, start playing him right midfield, then centre midfield and then he doesn't play for half a season when we're using people like Baird and Stalteri?!?! I just don't get it. He must have done something to ***** people off, or just doesn't train hard enough?? Can anyone shed some light on it??

I agree actually that Paintsil could be the new cult hero.

I agree he's had a ridiculous fall from grace. It's obvious though that he doesn't want to leave and I think if we keep it to a loan that Roy may bring him back some time in the future. Fingers firmly crossed anyway. Btw, can we petition Pantsil to start a web blog?
jackbarendse
that would be fantastic! On icons or pantsil.com!! lol
