Osasuna Refute Plasil Move Suggestion.

Over the weekend we reported how several news sources were implying that Fulham were interested in signing Jaroslav Plasil.

Plasil, currently playing for Osasuna, had impressed Roy in a recent fixture and was tipped to move to Craven Cottage, but that does not now seem to be the case.

Osasuna have declared that Plasil is an important part of their plans with the following quote being issued to back it up,

'I only know the news that is in the press, but really, Osasuna is not interested in a sale.'

'Plasil is an important player for our project.'

Ah well, some you win and some you lose!

NExt please! I'm sure Roy has a list of left wingers he wants. However if Gera is going to play like he did on saturday we don't need one!

Always good to have a bit of back-up but it's obvious Roy is busy in the market atm and I assume we'll have 2-3 more players by 1st September...anyway....it's Plasil's loss! I bet HE'S never beaten Arsenal

absolutely w'd love to c a few more lads coming n fit in before 1 Sep, esp at the centre half position just dun quite understand y we r not getting at least 1 more as cover or r we expecting our pair of hangeland n huges will play more than 40 matches this season if thats the case just dun be jaded. a holding midfielder maybe a gd introduction but assume we get our man does it mean we r going to bench our new captain or Bully, or r we going to field 4-5-1 when AJ n BZ r both fit? anyway i reckon it s always gd to keep a reasonable squad size with at least 2 lads who can play well in one same position for a gd season COYW

Yeah I'd like another central defender to come in if possible. We're lacking in cover in that area. I'd also like another striker to come in
