Fulham - Roy Gets His Midfield Man?

If the stories being churned out on the various internet sites are correct then Roy Hodgson has found the man he believes will fill the defensive midfield gap.

Kagiso Dikgacoi is on route to Craven Cottage to have a medical after the twenty three year old impressed Roy`s scouts when he played in the recent 2-2 draw for South Africa against Australia.

Dikgacoi currently plays, in South Africa, for 'Golden Arrows` and had been looking forward to playing in the Premier Soccer League.

But fate has shown its hand as the South African comments,

'My mind was focused to the start of the League season with Golden Arrows, but God has decided otherwise and wanted to give me this chance of playing in England."

'My manager has told me that I am not going for trials, but for medical tests and if I pass I will be playing for Fulham this season.'

Now we know very little about the player but we`d imagine having won eleven caps for his country he can`t be that bad!

What do you reckon?

Well as I said earlier (yes I'll claim that one) he captained the Golden Arrow's last year at least and so he obviously has some potential as he's still so young. I still don't know how tall he is but he looks about 6ft or so. I trust Roy's judgement! Uncle Roy would only have our best interests in mind
