'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham`s Bullard on the Arsenal Victory.

The euphoria of the victory over Arsenal is still high, even if Arsenal were a poor looking side the victory will live long in our memories.

The manner in which Jimmy Bullard and Danny Murphy controlled the midfield proved that they can be a midfield force together and after the match Jimmy spoke about what it means to him simply to be able to lace those boots on let alone put on a performance that underlined his value to the side.

Speaking after the match, Jimmy remarked,

"I went through horrible times. But now I`m playing again I`m just enjoying every minute."

"I know how close I was to not making it, so every time I step on to that pitch I just try and enjoy 90 minutes of football."

"At one point, it was another op or hang-up-your-boots time."

"It was my decision. I wasn`t sure how it was going to go."

"But I stuck in there, did the rehab properly when it was bloody hard graft and stuck with the main surgeon, Dr Steadman, who I really cannot thank enough."

"He got my leg back to where it is, if not stronger."

"Days like these are special. That`s what you play footie for, to be honest, turning over Arsenal on your own patch."

Just like Jimmy says - does turning over Arsenal on your own patch give you a warm feeling?

The best feeling ever to see the Arse totally dominated. Jimmy and Danny pulled the strings and made them look second rate

Wenger's face was an absolute picture!

loved it! Murphy run is little legs off! Remember one point where he ran across the whole pitch and slid into Nasri and got the ball. Top stuff

Yeah it's a great win,at least we think so . But do you notice that the rest of the world thinks the Arse lost, not that we won. It's the same every time the big boys lose, no credit to Fulham, just endless analysis of how Arsenal lost. Am I asking for too much for the Arsenal faithful to be a little more gracious in defeat?
Edens
After the example of great sporting like behaviour that Arsenal exhibited in the 'players injured' incidents Edens, the words Arsenal and 'gracious' don't go together! Disgraceful stuff. Anyway, we did turn them over and who cares if they had a bad game? They had a bad game because Fulham put them under pressure and didn't let them play! Credit to Jimmy B, he has fought back from a horrible place to get back playing again.
