Ratings Vs Arsenal

Schwarzer 8/10- Simply solid. Good in the air and I like the fact he wants to throw the ball, not punt it.

Pantsil 9/10- MOTM for me. Showed commitment to the team. Strong and assured in defence, explosive and useful in the attack. Might soon over take Bullard as the fans favourite.

Hangeland 8/10- Yet another assured performance. Solid throughout the game and kept Van Persie quite, also marked Adebayor out off set pieces.

Hughes 8/10- I feel sorry for Hughes. He is so under-rated by our own fans!! He had to deal with Adebayor all game and did so with class and showed why he has played more than 300 games in the top division.

Kallio 7/10- Fantastic performance on his debut for us. Got found out on occasions but for the large majority of the game kept Walcott and Sagna quite.

Davies 8/10- didn`t attack as much as we`re used to but helped Pantsil in defensive duties. Very solid game for our player of the season last season.

Bullard 7/10- A lot of fans think that he was superb in the game, however I don`t think he was THAT good. He seemed to disappear a lot during the game. When he did get involved he did show what he can do.

Murphy 8/10- Really showed he could be the muscle in the team. Tackled hard and ran all game. Passing was back to its best too. Obvious he can`t last a whole 90mins.

Gera 8/10- seemed to mirror Davies game. Helped Kallio out in the defence well and attacked well too. Very committed in the tackle and out jumped any Arsenal player.

Zamora 9/10- Was simply awesome and I think the MOTM title was very close between Z-man and pantsil. He ran all day and was a constant thorn in the Arsenal backline. Showed pace, strength and great first touch. Also showed his excellent hold-up play.

Ki-Hyeon 8/10- Has finally won the fans over? Worked hard and his pace and physical presence benefited our attacking play. Got up and down the park well and worked the touchline well.

Subs:
Stockdale DNP
Teymourain 6/10- Didn`t have enough time to make any sort of impression. Seems to have moved ahead of Andreason in the holding midfield role. Great hair!
Nevland DNP
Stoor DNP
Dempsey 6/10- Looked off the pace, but is bigger and stronger than last season. Needs to look around him more often.
Milsom DNP
Baird 7/10- Was solid at the back and did do anything wrong. Whoever booed him when he came on is a bloody idiot!

I agree totally. Zamore played very well and looks like a good hold up player which will get us goals once AJ is fit and we have that extra bit of pace up front. Also Pantsil was outstanding, very assured in defence and never looked shakey against real quality. Didn't dive in which is VERY helpful aswell especially against a team like Arsenal. All around every player really deserves credit. They all looked good and we looked like a high mid table team which is really encouraging. With Roy to bring in at least one or two more before the window closes, i think we'll be looking good once the team has gelled and I think November/December time will be very interesting to see how we've settled.

Panstil played great, but he really shouldn't of been in the match for the majority of the game. He might still get that ban though. Im not making excuses for the Arsenal preformance cause we were crap and you all deserved to win.

I didn't hear anyone boo when Baird came on (though to be fair, those annoying ******** clappers would have drowned it out from the Putney End). I thought Murphy was your best player, he pulled the strings and the midfield was where you won the game. Though I agree that your centre halves made simple work of Ade and van Nursie.

Pantsil should have been booked for that challenge, there was no menace in that challenge

zamora did have a really good game. He was actually very unselfish which is what you need to score goals. I mean he just missed from that cross that Seol put in which would just get put away every other time and he held the ball up really well when his back was to the goal and let the midfield, who I reckon will score alot of goals for us, come forward and really cause the defence problems. I just can't wait for next week to see Bobby and AJ playing together. I think they've got alot of goals in them!

Pantsil motm hands down he was brilliant, particularly liked his little lap of honour at the end applauding and blowing kisses to all the fans. He is going to be a fan favourite if he keeps playing like this. Zamora was superb. The quietest players on the pitch were Gera and Seol. Neither had a good game. Nevland should be ahead of Seol in my opinion, Gera looked a touch off the pace but he'll get better I'm sure, lots of natural talent that boy. Worst thing about the game was the awful lack of sportsmanship shown by Arsenal, using us kicking the ball out for their injured player to try to go on to attack. Disgusting cheating *******
