You Voted For a Centre Half?

You Voted For a Centre Half?

In our last poll, the one before the Arsenal match prediction, Fulham7 asked you to vote on your preferred choice if Roy Hodgson were to have one last splash of the cash before the transfer window closes.

In the Evening Standard tonight, it`s implied that Roy is looking for a "tall strong, defensive midfield player" a choice 23% of you agreed with.

But that figure was surpassed by the 57% who opted for a centre back, obviously the most popular of the options presented.

As for the others, 4% wanted to see a new left back and 8% wanted a central midfielder.

With the deadline set as September 1st this year seeing as the last day of August is a Sunday, it`ll be interesting to see who turns up, if anybody.

Safest option although i voted for another midfielder and I'm pretty sure I read that Roy was looking for someone to play in a defensive midfield position. So maybe we'll be looking at buying someone who can play both in the centre of defence and also bulk up the midfield. He said it would be someone tall aswell! Could have another Hangeland on our hands! YAY!! COYW!!

We could do with two hangeland, one to play alongside Hangeland and the other to play in front of Hangeland... I'm all hangelanded out!

our pair of centre halves looks fine playing well with each other since the end of last season n lets continue with this form but still dun understand y we r not getting at least 1 decent EPL proven centre half i reckon it will provide more competition for the pair n also sort of backup just in case of injuries. btw can pantsil, kallio or even baird play the centre position well or it will leave us with the only inexperienced leijer
