Hodgson Confused by Bullard Scenario!

Hodgson Confused by Bullard Scenario!

After becoming an almost daily scenario with club after club sniffing after Jimmy Bullard, with the latest being Bolton Wanderers, our manager has finally been moved to dismiss all this crazy talk of Jimmy being sold.

Speaking ahead of the crucial game against Arsenal, isn`t every game becoming crucial, Roy had this to say about the rumours that are now getting tedious to say the least.

'Neither myself nor (managing director) Alistair Mackintosh have recently been contacted by any club regarding Jimmy Bullard.'

'The only club I know that have made any contact, at least with myself, was Wigan - maybe five weeks ago.'

'I find it strange that Jimmy is being linked with moves in the press when no clubs are making offers for him.'

'It bothers me what's going on behind the scenes here, because certainly we aren't receiving any bids.'

'Jimmy has told me he's happy to get his head down and stay, so I don't understand what's going on.'

Is that last line cause for concern?

Is there a mischievous presence at work down in our lovely part of London?

Could be the player's agent looking for more money, especially since you havent granted him an improved contract.
