'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Even Roy Says He`s in Sunderland!

The rumours are so strong now that there`s almost a case for implying I`ll eat my hat if David Healy remains a Fulham player ahead of the transfer window closing at the end of this month.

The way things are going there is every likelihood that the Northern Ireland star will be wearing the red-and-white stripes of Sunderland very shortly with reports linking him to a medical on Wearside today!

In fact even Roy Hodgson has joined in the proceedings by wryly commenting,

'If David has been spotted at Sunderland he didn't wear that disguise I told him to!'

'It's no secret that Sunderland admire David and have talked about a transfer.

'He's up there for a medical today.

'We'll see what happens now but it's certainly a possibility the transfer could go through.'

So! As long as the price is right is it safe to assume that David Healy will be playing for the 'Black Cats` this weekend or will he have to wait just a little bit longer?

If Fulham manage to offload him to Sunderland for the reported 5million, it's a sound but of business by Hodgson!

Shame really, I'd like to see him strengthen our squad from the bench. All the best to him though

If we got 5million quid for David Healy I would literally laugh my ass off.... and I don't fancy being able to walk properly afterward. even 2 million for him would be fantastic!
donfulham
well the deal is done now and I heard it was only 1 million!

Aren't we getting a Sunderland player in exchange or something?
donfulham
maybe it s a better deal for us to get the cash instead
