One Defeat Does Not A Season Ruin!

I`m seriously hoping that we`ve not been hit with another bout of last ten minute jitters - like last season.

I`m hoping that the mistake by Paul Konchesky was a one off and something that`ll not cost us so dearly again.

I`m hoping the defeat at Hull was just one of those things; after all I want be pre-season optimism to last long than one game.

If that`s the case then I`ll stand proud and say that, unlike the rest of you, the 2-1 defeat at Hull didn`t deflate me, like Roy says - its how many points you`ve got come May, not now.

But that`s enough of that, how did our opening day poll go?

So let`s reveal the results!

With the question being,

After the hype did the opening day defeat deflate you?

84% voted for Badly

8% voted for Sort of expected it.

7% voted for Mildly.

1% voted Not really.

Quite a wide range in the votes there! I guess we were all hyped up!

Bring on Arsenal.

Not a brilliant start and I think we all realise that! Lets just focus on the season ahead. We've got a tough start so we just need to keep the faith boys! COYW!!!

still i think it s very important for us to make sure we beat most the bottom six if we r to secure a place anywhere near to the top half of the table this season. playing away from home n get all 3 points s never easy task but lets focus come on lads definitely hav heart n quality to show what we can do at our first home game against Arsenal COYW

At least from that game we have learnt that we need to play a DFM!!!
