Johnson A Doubt For Arsenal

Andrew Johnson had to miss Fulham's defeat against Hull last Saturday, and he is also a doubt for Arsenal's visit to Craven Cottage this Saturday.

A thigh strain has laid the striker low since his 11m arrival from Everton this summer and this is something that manager Roy Hodgson believes could see him miss out again on Saturday, as he doesn't want to take any risks: 'We do not want to take any risks as he could be out for a further period of time,' Hodgson told the Daily Mail.

If in doubt no risks should be taken, as longer-term damage could happen if the striker is rushed back.

Should Andrew Johnson miss the Arsenal match how much difference do you think it will make anyway?

I thought AJ was going to give us a huge boost and i thought we could be the arsenal as everyone would wanna see AJ bang a few in. But as a fan it would be deflating not to see him, Seol isnt quite AJ :(

This is just lazy jurno work re-using what roy said in the interview before the Hull game. He could have played at Hull but we didn't think it was worth the risk. He'll be at the Arsenal game

I'd be happier with Dempsey playing upfront with Zamora personally. Or even Healy, in place of Seol. What does RH see that we don't? Anyway, good idea about AJ lets make sure he's right before he comes back

AJ will give us the cutting edge with his explosive run n finishing touch! bench him first if he s not totally fit for 90 mins but definitely has to be at the Arsenal game! COYW

I'd love to see him there. He may not even score but it's just gonna be such a huge boost to the whole team. He may not score but he'll give the players that extra little edge!

even if he was match fit id keep him on the bench for a bit. Super sub will come in handy, lifting the fans and the players, especially if we concede. Bloody hope we see him on the pitch though
