'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Just One of Those Things Mate!

It was one of those incidents that ninety-nine times out of a hundred would have ended differently.

When in the eightieth minute Paul Konchesky ran onto that looping ball, you were just urging to see him direct it back to the keeper, Mark Schwarzer, or simply stick it out for a throw-in.

Instead, he got caught in no-mans land and the rest is history.

As Roy Hodgson mentioned in his post match interview, Konchesky would have been the last one you thought would make such a mistake considering the performances he has put in previously for our club.

Here at Vital Fulham we`d urge Paul to simply put it to the back of his mind and consider it a one off. To dwell on it would only make things worse, these things happen, we`ll live with it!

Looking at the site poll and I can't believe 1 in 5 think Bullard was best performance; you obviously weren't there, he had a stinker. His passing was less than accurate, dead ball kicks were ineffective and gave the ball away too many times. This game followed the pattern of the last friendlies; dominate the first half and score then sit back complacently waiting for the whistle, concede, and on this occasion, lose.

Plus murphy was no where to be seen. THey simply walked through him.

Any thoughts on Gera? He got in some great positions, but where the hell were his shooting boots? I half expected him to pull off a clown-like swing miss and land on your arse kind of move by the end of the match.

Gera was great but I think when it came to shooting he had his boots on the wrong feet!

Dithering on the ball so close to the goal P.K. even a park player knows when to hoof it out, i was so angry with him at the time, i was squirming in my seat, i will forgive him if he NEVER makes another error like it again this season. Roy, get a midfield enforcer, NOW. we need one badly.

just watched the highlights again i know Konchy has been one of our most consistent players last season n with high hopes this season he sh'd concentrate enough throughout 90 mins just dun ever make any kind of mistake like that one at Hull again COYW
