HULL CITY V FULHAM

This Saturday witnesses the end of one of the great football trivia questions of our time as Hull City, the largest city in Europe never to play in the top flight, finally have their flag day and get to mix it with the big boys of English football and West Ham United. Most football pundits are behaving like sheep and not sitting on a fence when it comes to Hull, having already written them off, and if we're being honest, they are going to struggle to stay up.

But there's a long way to go until clubs start getting anxious about the drop and if they're gonna go down you can bet that they'll get up off their knees and go down fighting. Let's think for a minute here, an opener against a rejuvenated but not unbeatable Fulham team could see The Tigers kick-off their Premiership stay with a convincing win, ensuring that Saturday at least will see one or two happy hours around Humberside.
