Fulham - Kamara Update!

With the arrival of Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson, both in big money deals, we're in danger of forgetting about a striker who we signed at this stage of the summer last year, Diomansy (Joe) Kamara.

Diomansy, who picked up an awful knee injury whilst on international duty, isn't likely to feature again until December at the earliest. The club, aware of his plight, issued the following press release on the official site highlighting his current situation,

'Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara is currently undergoing rehabilitation in France following surgery last month on his injured knee.

Diomansy is progressing well and is expected to return to the Club in the next few weeks to continue his rehabilitation. However, he is not expected to return to training before December 2008'

We send our best wishes to Diomansy and we hope to see him back in contention for a first team place in the New Year.

He;ll have a hard job forcing his way back into contention, especially if we start well and AJ and BZ start scoring.
Al Billy
he might need a year out to fully recover
Putney
anyone reckon he might have been sold if he were not injured?
Al Billy
I think he'd be kept. A useful player. Will he lose some of his pace is my main concern!

we'll have to wait and see!
